#1 Bare Bright Copper:
Uncoated, no smaller than no. 16 wire gauge; Insulation must be removed before,
cannot be corroded, and no paint. Must be shiny, not burnt.#1 Copper Tubing:
Tubing and fittings, no threads, no paint, uncoated, and no solder.
#1 Copper Wire:
Single strand of copper; braided copper must be thicker than pencil lead.#2 Copper:
Tubing that has corrosion, has solder or paint; striped wired down to 20 gauge.
(Opposite of #1 Copper)Sheet Copper:
Copper sheet; guttering or roofing copper.
Insulated #1 Copper Wire:
Single strand of copper; braided copper must be thicker than pencil lead.
(Example: house wire)Insulated #2 Copper Wire:
All other insulated wire down to 20 gauge. (Example: extension cords, automotive wire)
Insulated #3 Copper Wire:
Insulated copper wire, Ethernet or phone wire (communication wire).

Must be pure, no attachments and needs to be inspected; generally not magnetic.Clean Aluminum:
